Challenger Learning Center

Challenger Learning Center
in memory of Alvin H. and Emily T. Little.

The Kalamazoo Valley Museum's Challenger Learning Center (CLC) is an innovative educational facility complete with a 21st century Space Station and Mission Control. Part of an international network, Challenger Learning Centers are founded in memory of the Challenger 51-L crew to carry on its educational mission. The CLC is a hands-on, fun, learning experience, designed to complement science and math curriculum for all ages.

Corporate Missions provide organizations with valuable team-building experiences, while Junior Missions are designed to give smaller groups who wish to participate a glimpse of the full-scale program. Age restrictions are imposed, both for safety reasons and as a courtesy to other participants.
